A middle aged couple passed me. The woman was walking about five feet behind the man. They must be married. But what a nice guy he was to be out there supporting her or maybe she was supporting him. Again they said “good morning” and smiled a toothy grin.
Another short man who was also on the heavy side was boxing the air. He almost fell over with his giant grin. He also had an ipod. I wonder who he was boxing to?
I’m not so crazy about those bikers. I wonder if they are really happy to be out on their bikes. They are too serious for me. Most bikers pass me by without even looking at me. On one part of my walk there is a wooden planked bridge that crosses the river. When I was on it a group of bikers went by and I could hear the rat a tat tat tat tat tat of the bikes going over the bridge. My jive to the Indigo girls was disrupted, but I still looked them in the eye and smiled. But they all looked away. Maybe their colorful biking shorts are too tight for them.
I’m not so sure I trust them much. Sometimes they come up behind me and frighten me because I don’t hear them. If I’m out there by myself I’ll turn down my music so I know they are coming.
The people I like the best are the ones walking their dogs. I have seen so many different types of dogs and dog owners that I think I could write a book about them, maybe I will.
It is a great day here, my endorphins are active and I’m a happy walker today. So get on out there and check out the people. Don’t forget the doggies! I promise you will feel healthier and happier.

What a glorious morning in Central Florida. I was at the J. Blanchard Park for my walk today. The sun was shining and it has finally warmed up. The cold front went away and it was 60 degees at 9:30 this morning.
