Walking along the beautiful trails I often see the birds of prey hanging around looking for a feed. There are alligators in this river. It is called the Econlocatchee River and it is abundant with wildlife. Every once in a while I’ll see a gator laying up on the bank. Not this morning, the gators don’t come out until it is warmer. I guess that is a lot like people.
So even though it was cold, I walk, quicker than usual because it is cold and even developed a trot. You have to if you’re wearing shorts. What was I thinking about?
Exercising everyday is now a great habit to me. I don’t put in much thought of what to wear. I just do it. Is it a habit? Yes, definitely but it is also good for my head. The walk helps me clear my mind and fire up my endorphins.
Endorphins are the bodies natural hormones when activated decreases stress and increases the feeling of well being.
For me, they often kick in within ten minutes of brisk walking. It took a few weeks of daily walking to recognize that I felt good. It really makes a difference in my life.
Even if you can do ten minutes a day of some type of cardio workout, I promise, you will feel better about everything!

It is a chilly 45 degrees outside today. Living in Florida makes walking and exercising a little easier, except today. Where are the others? The people who are really committed to exercise are out there with me on a day like today.
